Rounding out our podcast from last week where we learned about making shelf-stable herb infused oils and herbal salves, herbalist and Body into Balance author, Maria Noël Groves from Wintergreen Botanicals walks us through the process of making herb infused honey using heat. In this instructional talk, Maria will lead us through the steps of making an herbal honey infusion on the stove. Wasting not a single drop of golden goodness, Maria also shares a wonderful method for enjoying any sticky leftovers. Maria is the owner of Wintergreen Botanicals Herbal Clinic & Education Center and best-selling author of Body into Balance and Grow Your Own Herbal Remedies. She teaches herbal medicine through Wintergreen Botanicals as well as nationally, including speaking at various herbal conferences. In addition to being a health writer, Maria is an adjunct instructor for the Herbal Academy and a guest presenter at the Maryland University of Integrative Health, Massachusetts College of Pharmacy, and the American Holistic Nursing Association.
