Abbey Rodriguez and Jennifer Kurdyla are the co-authors of “Root and Nourish: An Herbal Cookbook for Women’s Wellness,” where they teach women how to incorporate plant medicine into everyday life through food and self-care, with over 100 whole-food, plant-based, gluten-free recipes drawn from western herbalism and Ayurveda, as well as mindfulness and holistic lifestyle practices.

Enjoy this conversation on settling in, anchor points for pausing into reflection, and more actionable nutritional and lifestyle considerations for welcoming the holiday season with ease. We also explore mindful eating, herbs integrated with lunar rituals, and some of their favorite seasonal recipes.
